2026 Sale Update It has been a difficult few months at Moose Mountain Ranch, and it feels important to update everyone. Our mare herd suffered an abortion storm. The majority of our 2026 foal crop has been lost. We do have some mares still in foal and a handful of live foals at this time.
What does that mean for our 2026 sale? It is hard to say with any degree of confidence. What we do know is that we will not be able to host a sale in the traditional format at Weyburn for 2026. We are hopeful there will be some sort of online sale for this fall 2026. We plan to resume our traditional sale format in 2027.
