2026 Sale Update
It has been a difficult few months at Moose Mountain Ranch, and it feels important to update everyone.
Our mare herd suffered an abortion storm. A large percentage of our 2026 foal crop has been lost. 
We do have close to 30 live foals at this time with a few more mares left to foal. .

What does that mean for our 2026 sale? .
What we do know is that we will not be able to host a sale in the traditional format at Weyburn for 2026.

​We are looking at online sale options for this fall 2026.

We will keep you updated as things continue to develop. Stay tuned!

28th Annual September Showcase Production Sale was

Weyburn, Saskatchewan

All the foals will be available for viewing at Weyburn Livestock prior to the start of the sale.

​​We would love to see you in person, but if you can't personally make the sale, you can view & bid online through DMLS, or can phone order bid through Weyburn auction.

To bid online, please PRE register through DLMS at https://www.dlms.ca/default.aspx

Buyers are responsible for foals from the time of purchase and will need to have foals picked up from Weyburn auction yards no later than Sunday, September 14. If you are unable to have your foal picked up by then, please contact us prior to the sale to explore options. Foals can come back to the ranch to await pickup, but please contact us to confirm arrangements.
